Southbourne

The new Ludo Lounge is a popular bistro venue for people of all ages.
Things to do in Southbourne
The cliff tops offer spectacular views across to Swanage, Hengistbury Head and the Isle of Wight on a clear day.
Southbourne has a blue flag award winning beach with excellent seaside facilities and an increasing number of affordable, chic seafront restaurants and bars. The sandy beach is popular with families and is ideal for surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing. On calm sea days snorkelling is good in the clear waters.
The Promenade
The promenade runs continuously from Southbourne to Boscombe and Bournemouth offering an interesting evening stroll with evening fireworks at Bournemouth Pier most Fridays during August.
In the other direction, Hengistbury Head offer a peaceful vista of the beautiful Christchurch Harbour. The beach huts on this peninsular regular sell for six figure sums, and a visit to the Beach Hut Restaurant is well worth the trek.
